With more than 30 years of clinical hygiene practice, I have witnessed the impact of periodontal inflammation on a wide range of diseases and conditions.
As a graduate of Wichita State University-dental hygiene, I then earned a bachelor's degree in Oral Health Promotion and am a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Brain Longevity Specialist.
Additionally I've worked as a consultant with Weill Cornell Alzheimer's and Prevention Clinic, Florida Atlantic Center for Brain Health, and the Atria Institute. I enjoyed being included in an international consortium that is diverse network of brain researchers, clinicians, and institutions who support Alzheimer's prevention.
In 2017, I developed Oral Systemic Seminars to help inform dental colleagues, medical providers and the public regarding all thing's oral health. As time and my education has progressed, my primary focus is now dementia prevention. The mind, the body and the soul.
